El próximo domingo 10 de febrero se celebrará la 55ª edición de los premios Grammy, en el Staples Center de Los Angeles. Creados por la Recording Academy, una asociación estadounidense de profesionales relacionados con la industria musical, son considerados el equivalente a los Premios Oscar en el mundo de la música.
Están distribuidos en 105 categorías, que aglutinan 30 géneros de música. Se otorgan por votación y no por índice de popularidad tal y como ocurre en los premios Bilboard Music y American Music.
